How a lesson works

Every step ends with your hands.

The same three steps whether you’re learning to knit or to code. Most XP comes from doing, not watching.

  1. 1

    Watch the step

    +10 XP

A short, captioned clip, never longer than 10 minutes. Slow it down, go back 10 seconds, or loop the tricky part.

  2. 2

    Try it yourself

    +25 XP

Every lesson ends with a task for your hands: cast on 20 stitches, dice an onion, write a form.

  3. 3

    Log what you made

    +40 XP

Add a photo and a note to your makes. Other learners can give kudos and cheer you on.
